Secure Messaging

It is now possible to securely send messages to other people. The Health Insurance Providers Accountability Act (HIPAA) says that you cannot send patient information via email since email is not secure. Asynchronous communication like email is a valuable tool. This is where IronInbox™ provides a solution. With IronINBOX™ you can securely send messages to any other IronINBOX™ user. When you receive an IronINBOX™ message, an email will be sent to you to let you know that you have a new secure message. The message you receive via email contains a brief message to let you to know you should check your IronINBOX™ messages.

Email Notification

When someone sends a message to your IronINBOX™ an email will be sent to your normal email address to let you know that you have a new message.

HIPAA Safe

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a set of laws that governs the disclosure and dissemination of patient information. HIPAA covers more than just doctors, HIPAA covers dentists, counselors, psychologists, chemical dependency counselors, domestic violence therapists, as well as mental health professionals. If you communicate with any of these via email regarding patients, you are violating U.S. Federal Law. Now you can communicate with any of these safely, securely and quickly. IronINBOX™ makes it possible to gain the productivity of email while sending messages securely and in full compliance with Federal and State Laws. Even if you are an attorney and you are inquiring via email about the status of a client of yours who is in treatment for a D.U.I. offense, the person you are contacting cannot legally respond.
